Positive User: My favorite in Bangkok. Very good food and great drinks. Plus perfect service staff. The location is simply fantastic.
Positive User: I wore casual clothes, but the service was good and the cocktails were delicious. It was a night view that took everything into account, and it would be better to go with friends or young people. I think the price was very cheap on the rooftop of a 5-star hotel.
Positive User: Was in Bangkok on my gfriend’s birthday and decided to drop by at SEEN for a nice dinner with her and the experience couldn’t have been better! Food and cocktails were fabulous, every single member of the F&B team were great and made the e evening special. Thank you so very much for providing us such a wonderful experience!!

Positive User: Mind’s excellent service really made the night special. She not only attentive but discreet. The food was okay, the chicken miso was good, tenderloin was acceptable, at the price point, I felt the food taste could be further improved. The restaurant decor is very tasteful and pretty, but not sure why they play club beats all night. I felt a live jazz band instead would have enhanced and compliment the decor.

Positive User: Seen is a well located rooftop at Avani riverside and have plenty of option from food to beverage with live DJ. The ambience is nice and atmosphere is good. Staff are handy and enjoyed their choice of drinks. Port wine was a really strong drink. The price range is at par with other rooftops

Neutral User: To start off, the customer service & ambiance/vibe/views were 5 stars, no doubt. Drinks and food were where the restaurant fell short, unfortunately. I would equate the food to mediocre bar food, and that’s being generous. We are from California, so take this information with a Californians point of view & set your expectations accordingly.
Considering we spent 6,200 baht (~$173 USD), it’s an extremely pricey meal for this country. We also ordered 2 items from the Japanese menu and the fish did not taste fresh. Based on our experience here in Bangkok, go with the mall food (will cost you around 1,000 baht or so) and stick to the rooftop restaurants for drinks & vibes only. I know, mall food…you’re thinking “you can’t be serious, right?” Well think again, the mall food is not to be slept on in Bangkok.
Overall, great views and ambiance is great here, but eat elsewhere.
Neutral User: Amazing view!!! Got to see beautiful bangkok riverside however food was so bad (bland and weird ingredients they put on a simple sushi) I couldn’t finish it. Would recommend to go here for drinks and hangout but def not for satisfying your hunger.
Neutral User: The views and ambiance of this bar are spectacular! I really enjoyed taking in the sunset from this riverfront highrise. The service however was not the best. I felt like I was being ignored even though I arrived around 4:30pm and was one of the only customers visiting at the time. I really enjoyed my food and cocktail. I ordered the SEEN Tacos, and the crab was very fresh! The pomegranate and guacamole added a nice touch. I ordered the roasted snow fish and it was truly delicious! Maybe one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had. However, I was very disappointed with the portion sizes and overall costs. I could have spent less at a 5 star bar in America where I live. For Bangkok, spending over $120 for such small plates felt like a total ripoff. You’d think for that price, the service would be spectacular! I definitely won’t be returning here.

Negative User: The place has a beautiful view and great food. But the uncomfortable seating and terrible service staff makes sure that you do not stay or return. The only exception in the staff was a person named kae, who was brilliant. The rest of the guys were there to fill positions and throw dishes on the table that was already full.
Serious training need for the staff and they need to figure better seating with better lighting if they would like to continue serving dinner. Else should re brand themselves as a bar only.
Do not recommend going here.

Negative User: They ask for a minimum 5000baht to be seated at a “decent” table EVEN WHEN YOU’RE ACTUALLY STAYING AT THE HOTEL. No guarantees that you’ll get seated to begin with. Hostesses, not nice. I waited minutes before she cared to attend me. Too many not-so-friendly hostesses yet under staffed in terms of wait-staff.
Cocktails are half full, nothing like the photos. Food not as hot or fresh as it should’ve been.
I understand that it’s a restaurant inside the hotel building but if you’re advertised as part of the hotel, maybe put a little more effort on treating hotel residents nicer. It only hurts the hotel’s name. One of the hostesses did the favor of calling the elevator for us, not sincere and a little too late. The other one didnt even cared to say good night. We were quite excited to stay at this hotel and eat sth here, as it’s harder to find vegetarian options. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED. Hope the hotel delivers at least.
Negative User: We were boarders at Hotel Avani. After the entire day we went to the Seen bar to relax and have a couple of drinks. To our greatest shock the lady at the bell desk walked in to tell us we should have drinks of 5000bhakt which is compulsory!!! It was utterly shocking to have a branded restaurant declare such outrageous thing .Hence forth we used the Long bar in the same hotel where staff was more hospitable and welcoming without any terms nd conditions So when u enter Seen make sure u can gobble drinks of 5000bhkt minimum!!!!
Negative User: We picked this place to celebrate my friend’s birthday but unfortunately it was a bitter experience. We flew from Singapore and Australia to celebrate this special night after years of separation due to covid.
We were seated outdoors on high stools. Everything was fine, service was slightly slow but we understood it was a far walk for the waitress.
1. The first issue that made things sour for us was when we asked the waiter to take a photo for us but he said no flash photography is allowed. It was dark outside but the venue had 2 photographers there taking photos the entire night with flash but guest was not allowed to use flash.
2. The salmon came and it was the fishiest, smelliest, unfresh salmon I have ever tasted in my life. We told the waitress and she agreed to let us change it.
3. It started to rain and the waitress asked if we would like to move inside. I mean, why would she ask that? No one would want to eat in the rain right? When we said yes we want to move indoor, she told us to wait while she finds a table. Shouldn’t she already have a table before asking us? Within moments we were drenched.
4. Staff was way too slow to move our food and drinks, we carried our own food and drinks. They did not assist with picking up the food left on our table which needless to say half of our food was wasted. They did not agree to compensate for the wasted food drenched in rain.
5. We asked for directions to the toilet midway during our meal and the staff made us take a flight of stairs and go down a level for toilet when there was a toilet on the same floor.
6. We told the staff it was our friends birthday, she looked unhappy and served the cake to her when all of us was not even at the table to sing her happy birthday and take pictures. She also did not served us cutleries or reset our table after moving us inside. No water, no fork and spoon. Nothing! It was outrageous. By this point it was so obvious she was trying to force us to leave.
It was by far the worse dining experience. We paid around 13K baht for the worst service, half wasted food and worst tasting food too. Will never return. Pretty for pictures but pretty much a tourist trap. It is also far from city centre and traffic was bad. It was an experience not worth the hassle. I was drenched and ruined my hair and make up.
