Positive User: Toasted bun which very crispy on outside and very soft inside. There are many choices on creamy sauce inside- range from thai classic sugar and condensed milk, sugar with butter, chocolate, pandan sauce, etc.
Personally I recommend sugar with butter and sugar with milk, it’s might be quite creamy and too sweet but it’s worth a try.
Positive User: Pros: fast to collect, super rich filling in toasted buns.
Cons: Queue was messy and chaotic, can be quite hot while waiting. No place to try on the spot.

How to order:
Walk right to the store front, get a paper and pencil THEN start queuing. While queueing, write down what you want. They have 2 queues to fulfill orders. Pass the paper to the staff and you’ll get your buns! Cash only.
Positive User: The infamous toasted buns. Service is swift. You need to eat the buns quickly, best served hot. Tough you can find it in several malls across Bangkok, this one is the real place.

Positive User: Would give this 5/5 if the bun was fluffier! Crispy, sweet (had the milk version), went at 630pm and there was no queue at all. Would eat this again, but I don’t find myself craving this. Still pleasant and worth a visit if you’re already in BKK!

🥓 It’s warm and fluffy. Recommend to eat right when you receive it. But prepare wet tissues because for me it was a mess with it dripping all around. I like the milk and chocolate flavour, I know, classic. Didn’t really enjoy the egg custard flavour.
🕙 Went on a weekend, Yaowarat is super packed. Like SUPER. Loads of people purchasing from this shop as well. But the good thing is, the wait is surprisingly short after you place an order. The staff worked very quickly.
🤑 Affordable and value for money.
🔥 Will patronise again if the queue is short and if I happen to be nearby. Wouldn’t make a special trip down for it.

Best to have it while it’s still hot …once it cool down the bun is a bit chewy. But while it’s hot it’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
It’s only 25 Baht a bun!! Really is a must try!

Neutral User: Overwhelmed by the filling. Milky and nothing special with the bun. Not quite sure why this is a thing, the experience is messy. I think in order to enjoy this bread one must prepare some tissues on hand…it was a bad decision to take away this bread and got nothing to wipe the mess —- too sticky! Lol
Neutral User: The amount of filling in this buns is crazy. Eating this will be very messy so get your wet tissue ready. I think you must eat this fresh and hot to get the hype, if not it just taste like regular bun, not toasted bun. The filling is very nice. Can try at least once. But the ordering system is quite messy.
Neutral User: It doesn’t take long to fill out the order form, submit it, and receive it, but it doesn’t taste anything special.
I ordered the butter and thai tea flavor, and if you try it, I recommend the thai tea.

Negative User: This is a very disappointing bread bun. Have heard that it is famous and good but we bought it and for some reason, the buns are hard as rock! The fillings are not spectacular. I guess it has lost its appeal or the standard has dropped significantly? There wasn’t a queue when we bought it too.
Negative User: Hmm.. its not that good, why is it that famous?? I might be missing something but it’s a very normal bread that’s not exactly fragrant or super soft. The jam is too sweet. Nothing special for me, possibly a taste better suited to the locals.

Negative User: How was it 5 years ago? After 5 years it’s still the same…..not delicious. Plus eating at a branch in a department store is more delicious.
Negative User: There are many branches and the taste is so greasy that you won’t want to eat it after one bite.
If you don’t queue up, you won’t want to eat again😖😖😖
