Positive User: Great place , food excellent, big portions and big choices
Positive User: Nice and delicious Thai food. Curry crab and fresh bamboo mix so good. Service is also excellent.
Positive User: Yummy fried fish and curry crab meat. A bit on the pricey side of things.

Positive User: Lime steamed Squid with Roe intact was spicy. The roe (eggs) were… an odd texture. Not quite slimy, more squishy. I liked it but if you’re sensitive to the texture of your food you might want to avoid this.
Steamed Crab Scabbards were fresh and served with a chili lime sauce.
Grilled Freshwater Shrimp. Also fresh and a good size. They charge per 100 grams and these two shrimp alone cost 1,680 baht.
They gave me a free Steamed Mackerel Curry ball. It was mostly curry with a little bit of fish in it. I didn’t like it but it was free so I can’t complain.
This meal with water and rice cost 3,243 baht.
Positive User: A chain Thai seafood restaurant conveniently located on 7th floor of the EmQuartier shopping complex. Food is fresh, and the flavor is mild enough for foreigners to enjoy. Outdoor and indoor air-conditioned seating available. Good service. Mid range to high prices, but still decent value for money.
Positive User: Excellent place for seafood. Granted, you could probably get cheaper seafood outside on the streets, but freshness and hygiene is questionable.
Mum and i were at Emquartier and decided on this place for dinner. Mum has an extremely sensitive stomach so i thought it’d be safer to have seafood in a restaurant instead.
We went a bit before dinner time so i cant comment much on the dinner crowd since the place waant very full at 5pm.
What we ordered:
1) Claypot glass noodles with crab; there were 5 sizes to choose from (i think XS – XL) but the 2 smallest sizes were unavailable so we went for M. There was quite a lot of noodles.
2) Prawns fried in garlic; prawns were fresh!
3) Cockles: they were cooked just right and mum really liked them
4) Squid fried in salted egg sauce; i felt the salted egg taste wasnt really there, but it was pretty tasty already
All in all, a good place to have a comfortable seafood dinner.

Neutral User: Nice ambience, service was quite good.
Fried fish is fantastic. Fresh and crispy.
Oyster omelette was okay- egg was thick, oysters were average size. Not many oysters.
Cabbage was little crunchy, not soft. Not too salty either.
Soup with shrimp (can’t remember its name). Shrimps were fresh – but the soup was slightly too sour- we barely drink the soup.
Phad Thai was good, not too oily, but stick together if you don’t eat it immediately. There are prawns, dried shrimps and Chinese sausages in it. Taste good.
Asked for hot ginko, but cold one came- was good with coconut juice.
Spent appx THB1800.
Neutral User: Some good, some could be better. The fish was lovely, scallops nice but the curried crab was a long way from great, tasted too processed, maybe just not street style. One of the curried was good, the other a bit wishy-washy.
Neutral User: Everything else are good but disappointed in the mantis shrimp. It’s not fresh here. Other than that, everyone is ok. Also this Laem Charoen has a stronger food flavor from other locations.

Negative User: We were 3 persons dining. Staff members who took the order ONLY recommended items which are being sold by weight (priced per 100 gr), i.e. they recommended for 3 of us a fish weighing 1 kg, which we rejected and changed to a slightly smaller one, a pepper crab of 800 gr, very large river prawns etc. Only interested in up-selling expensive items, not in composing a well-balanced menu. This had been my second experience. Food was not impressive, fish very over-fried (deep-fried) Pepper Crab very, very dry, over fried. Prawns and other dishes were OK, but also not impressive! Very expensive as a result of service staff pushing these premium items.
Negative User: Nothing like including the location information such as which building and which floor.
So we found it up on 5th floor. Ordered shrimp with basil, fried rice crabmeat, and some sort of fried shrimp rolls. Shrimp rolls were too greasy, fried rice was average…sort of tasteless, and the shrimp and basil was actually pretty good. So stay away from any of the fried stuff as I’m not sure about the condition of the oil, and know that the rice needs something..not sure what. Stick with the Thai dishes and you might be ok.
Cost was 1100 baht for two of us.
Negative User: Overpriced for the quality. Food was mediocre for local standard.
One Star
Negative User: Should improve the cooking time a bit. with the person taking orders in front of the store Told food to wait 30 minutes. This wait was almost an hour. The people taking orders in front of the store should be improved a bit. If you’re not sure when you’ll get food, don’t tell me.
Negative User: The staff is impolite without any professional training. Food is average too salty too oily. Skip this address!!
Negative User: We should’ve known before we sit down since there was nobody in there, but that was the reason there was nobody in there the food sucked, the service was terrible, and the prices are really high.
