  • Positive User: Hidden Jewels of Chinese or rather Cantonese Cuisine in the heart of Sukhumvit Area in Bangkok. Was craving for some hot & warm Cantonese cooking and by accident stumbled upon this restaurant in Carlton Hotel. Business Set Lunch of 777b ++ isn’t that bad at all. Reasonable portions and most importantly all of the dishes taste great! Very impressed with the snow fish dish particularly. Tim Sum looks great too. Overall it’s a great place for Chinese food especially in Bangkok. The big mango is spoiled with various international cuisine, no doubt due to its own influence Chinese cooking have been part of the food culture of Bangkokians specifically yet it’s a real challenge to really find a decent for people like me who grew up with it and we have certain standards of measurement to determine if the food is great or not. This place certainly didn’t disappoint me. To me the price is reasonable for Chinese Dining and coupled with great cooking i certainly feel worth the money. And the devil is in the details, just the Chilli paste & the pickles alone have justified its presence, no surprise why it’s in Thailand Michelin 2022 Guidebook !!!!

  • Positive User: Peking duck…it’s really delicious. One Peking duck feeds two people. Corkage is also available and costs about 20,000 won per bottle.

  • Positive User: Peking duck is very good. Sorry I ate it all so I don’t have picture.

  • Positive User: Most of the dimsum dishes are great. I love fried taro with bbq pork most. Service are nice except 1 staff who didn’t want to service (1 star deduct for that). It’s quite hard to call and book, you can book via Chope instead.

  • Positive User: Food : delicious with quality ingredients, I loved everything I ordered but the pecking duck could be more crispy, it was good but could be better(in my opinion) Xiao long bao was really good 👍 The bean curd is a must try for everyone who love Tofu. Parking : Carlton hotel FL.4

  • Positive User: With recent Michelin guide status, it attracts more customers to dine here especially for dimsum at lunch time. The taste is good and fresh. However, from upscale Chinese dining, it turns to be bustle ambience with noise and the staffs walk back and forth all the time. Parking is inside the Carlton hotel, it quite convenience with lot of space.

  • Neutral User: Wellknown chinese dimsum from Singapore. We had lunch with family on Sunday, packed with customers and tables , then narrow alley to walk in the resto. Luckily we have ordered foods in advance, therefore not wait for long (while other table has to) For dimsum, it seems to be as same as the other restaurants, not that special. However pecking duck is great, crispy and not much fatty, particularly deep flying duck meat is superb with juicy, crisp out and tasty..love it!! Must improve the service, not many lady to serve you around then have to wait for quite long , and please friendly faces

  • Neutral User: A Cantonese restaurant located on the second floor of the Carlton Hotel. It had a Michelin star rating of 1, so I went there to eat and the food was as expected. was delicious. One thing I was disappointed about was that the reservation wasn’t made properly, so the surprise cake for my birthday wasn’t prepared.

  • Neutral User: Coming here because I’ve heard so many great things about this 2nd branch of famous Singaporean restaurant… I don’t know what’s wrong with it. Maybe it’s what I ordered but almost everything is hit-and-miss. Dim sums are alright but there are much better places in Bangkok for that. So as other dishes. It was just an “okay” and doesn’t live up to its hype. A bit dissappointed.

  • Negative User: I’m extremely disappointed in both the service and the food. We came for dinner, and the place is more than half empty. We waited for almost an hour for two of the appetizers to come. The fried century egg was too salty and not tasty. The black bean sauce fried chicken was mediocre. Was really hoping to give this restaurant a try but my stomach ulcers tell me to go eat some real food somewhere else, quick.

  • Negative User: We ordered our food, a soup and 3 dishes, at around 6:45pm. The first dish which is veggie and the soup came in about 15 mins. We waited for another 20 mins, nothing else came. We inquire about the wait and was told they should be coming shortly. Second dish finally came after another 15 mins. But where is our 3rd dish. We had to ask again and waited for yet another 20 mins for it to came because the kitchen had made a mistake. Also, want to mention during this whole meal, we were given close to no attention from the staff unless we ask. We notice there are two big parties in the back inside the vip rooms and they were pretty much just serving them for the most part. Staffs were super busy walking in and out and bringing food to them. As far as the food, they are not bad, but I wouldn’t recommend it as they are not even close to authentic Chinese/Cantonese food.

  • Negative User: Food taste is ok not superb Timing of food is very poor, all food came by ok but r took another 40minutes for the last dish to arrive despite many enquiring, Staff and supervisor could only say sorry but far short of trying to fix anything. Would suggest to hire enough staff with traffic.

  • Negative User: Not recommendable Worst value for money Luxury atmosphere but food quality 0 Almost €150 to throw away Any Cantonese restaurant in Chinatown beats it

  • Negative User: We chose this restaurant because after two weeks traveling around Thailand we were craving some Cantonese food. We booked around 9:00 PM (it’s a bit late, but they told us that there was no problem). The place is big and high, an open space with many tables and many people, so there was also a lot of noise (maybe some celebration given the dates). The lighting is too cold for my taste and the whole room smelled like food. At first, everything was going very well. The friendly staff helped us choose what to have for dinner with their recommendations. We ordered a couple of starters and a half duck. The food itself was good, some portions a little small. It took them around 30 minutes to bring the first course to the table. They brought the main course first and then, 20 minutes later, the two starters. We did not give much importance to the error in the order of the service, since the food was correct in flavor. Halfway through dinner, before 10:00 PM, between the main course and the starters, they brought us the bill because they were going to close (we hadn’t even finished eating). After paying, the staff began to clean up the entire premises, moving tables, chairs, etc. (I insist, before 10:00 PM). Even so, we were not the only table, there was a group of 15 people at another table and another five tables with 3 or 4 people each. The desserts we ordered, recommended by the room service, were two glasses with ice and a melon-flavored sorbet. I do not recommend them. Pay to eat flavored ice. But the worst was not that, and hence my rating of a single star. The worst and the straw that broke the camel’s back was that they started vacuuming next to us while we were finishing dinner. We paid around THB 3,500 for a bad and fast dinner because we were thrown out in a bad way, and with the ambient sound of people shouting and a vacuum cleaner. We still had bad luck and a bad experience at the place. I will not return to that site because I did not like it at all.

  • Negative User: Hall manager’s vulgar response Disappointing taste due to pre-cooking Compared to the size and quality of the store The balance between customer service and taste is not right.
