  • Positive User: It was crazy good. It was the happiest I’ve been this month.

  • Positive User: Wonderful service by Chef Yim. Professional staff. Highly recommended.

  • Positive User: The fish is very fresh. Long counter with full Japanese feel. There’s sake, eaten with sashimi, which is very good. You should come eat!

  • Positive User: Decent place for Kushikatsu! You can choose between set of 10 pieces or Omakase. Very tasty, especially Chestnut and Shrimp one. The price is acceptable.

  • Positive User: Good quality pork cutlet. They serve both steak (Tonteki) and deep fried stuffs. The sauce underneath the steak is too salty, I used to try the tonteki set at their Promphong branch and feels that the taste is better over there, it was perfect. If you want to try tonkutsu set, you need to go at lunch only. During dinner they don’t serve the tonkutsu set but you can order sticks of deep fried stuffs – recommend chicken curry.

  • Positive User: The place is small and hot even with AC on. The wait time varies but it can get up to an hour or more, during rush hour. Delicious cold soba with lovely texture. The flat udon was okay, I had to wait for my tempura so the noodles were a little overcooked when the tempura was served. I’d recommend this place to those looking for a homemade Japanese soba.

  • Neutral User: The price is high anyway. However, the quality of the ingredients is high, and you can enjoy kushiage made with seasonal ingredients. I love the light cutlet with crispy fried batter. Some of the ingredients were overcooked, so I can’t help but feel like I need to practice more. I guess it depends on the person frying it. I ordered a 1,000B course with 10 skewers, but some courses will be served until you ask them to stop. The cost of bringing in alcohol is 500B, which is also expensive. Maybe I should just bottle it up quietly. If you’re going to go to a stupidly expensive and low-quality izakaya for Tanya’s companion, I recommend this one even if it’s somewhat expensive. The curry at the end was the most delicious.

  • Negative User: Note: I was at the rush-hour lunchtime Sunday – No guest reception at Front – Fair taste of noodles, mine was tenzaru soba set and tenzaru udon set ( not bad but neither not that worthy the >30-min waiting) – Poor order management (some missing orders, not delivered) – poor cashier process (everything based on oral info, no valid evidence to pay. It is easy for some customers tricking ) – Staff are fairly polite in general but appeared to be stressful due to the crowded situation, not in the service-mind state. Difficult to call up upon some request (e.g filling tea, putting extra orders)

  • Negative User: Overpriced “promotion course” 1300+ per person. The only good thing was tofu Soba was not firm and sadly soppy. Oily tempura. Ordinary udon that can be found in the same area. Duck looks nice but taste simple Do not order or book for the course at all Just eat normal menu The AC was not good and had to asked for a fan. The most terrible Japanese course menu in my experience.

  • Negative User: If you love deep fired and Japanese delicate taste, here is your choice. The crust is thin and broken gently on bite. The most impressive is the simple asparagus and cream crab croquet. 2021: After the COVID-19 attack, the restaurant is seemed to repositioning. The price is reducing from what we usually paid 2000 THB per head to approx. 700 THB per head. No more delicate taste, no more excellent raw materials. I thus reduced from 5 stars to 3 stars 2022 March: The restaurant started a new line, soba and udon. Three visits during 3 first week, the soba was unstable. Served soba was different and never repeated during three visit. Though the soba quality is acceptable, but one cannot expect fragrance of soba in this hand-made soba. The most impressive could be inari sushi. The service and staff is strongly recommend to improve. There are always some mistake or missing our order, not only one time but every time we visit and could be more than 2-3 mistakes in a visit. Every visit, we found staffs loudly argued among them that totally ruin a good atmosphere for dining. I reduced 3 stars to 2 stars and removed from my favorite place. Let’s see if the restaurant can improve.

  • Negative User: I made the call to the restaurant to book for 4 persons at 8 pm which the staff ensured that the booking was not necessary and we could just walk in. Arrived the restaurant at 8 pm and they said they would be closing soon and would not take in any new customers when their last order is by 9.30 pm. Explained to them what happened over the phone and they kept on insisting that they could not let us in since they would close soon (literally we got there 1.30 hr before last order), how ridiculous is that? Such a huge disappointment and will not return again. Avoid this restaurant at all cost unless you want to waste your time.

  • Negative User: The big chef is loud and can’t speak Thai.

  • Negative User: Came to eat 19 omakase courses. After serving the appetizer, I sat and waited for about 15 minutes even though there were no other customers in the restaurant. and many standing staff Until having to ask when can I start serving? Turns out the chef forgot to serve the sushi.
