Positive User: This is a top-quality French restaurant with great food and amazing staff & service. It has been around for 20+ years and the original location was memorable (back on Patpong). New location is very nice, comfortable, & upscale in a walled/gated house in the back road of Sathorn. The food is damn good! This is one of my regular stops on every visit to BKK. You should RSVP to get a table here.

The restaurant had a nice buzz on Saturday evening; we were transported back to France!
Food was excellent- escargot were loaded with garlic and parsley butter, duck confit was really well cooked, crispy yet moist, and the tartare well balanced with a lovely texture.
Staff were really attentive, and quick to act when my wife spilled wine on me!
We will be back, and in greater numbers!
Positive User: It is a relaxing French restaurant. The boss always greets every guest warmly. The leg of lamb is very tender. All the dishes are delicious. The atmosphere of dinner is better than that of lunch.

What I like the most is the bread that the shop makes itself. 🥖
Discovered that desserts are better than food.
What I really like is Flambeed Grand Marnier Soufflé, baked hot, not too sweet, and complemented with ice cream.
I really like the lobster soup. There is baked bread to cover the lid of the cup, making the soup hot. The soup tastes good, rich and mellow. The baked bread comes with the soup. It’s delicious.
As for the food, it’s just so-so. You may not have ordered it yet.

On your birthday, the shop will write Happy Birthday if you order dessert 🍨

Neutral User: French restaurant in a remove isolated location. The food is good and owner is à character giving his feeling to this place. not cheaper, not perfect, but enjoyable
Neutral User: A shade pricey. Magret was slightly overdone. Good atmosphere and great service. Location not convenient by train. Good selection of french wines but on the pricey side. Some selective Spanish, Italian or Australian wines can help moderate pricing.
Neutral User: A pretty ordinary experience for 2000+ baht per person. I had the rib eye steak. Asked for medium rare ~ unfortunately over cooked ~ medium at best. I can’t recommend the restaurant. It was much better imo at the previous location. Pretentious now which certainly could not be levelled at the previous location.

Negative User: I have been there 3 times, after reading all the reviews I still don’t understand all the fuss. It’s very small, smell very strong old humidite air, the place would need to be refresh. Over all the food was just ok but no, Bangkok has now a wider choice of french restaurants. Expectations were higher based on reviews. Disappointed.
Negative User: Even though the food is clean, it’s expensive and tastes like too little. The lunch set at 480 cost us 1500+ for 2, without drink or dessert, just a drinking water and 2 coffees.
Very (too) expensive compared to other addresses for lunch service.
The bread is charged 90bht++ in a French restaurant for a few quickly grilled pieces!! An absolute shame.
It’s really a pity. We won’t be going back.
Negative User: Glad we tried it but won’t be going back anytime soon. Inside ambiance and furnishings are tired and food was underwhelming at best. Value for money just isn’t there. The best part of the meal was cream of mushroom soup which was bland and watery.

Negative User: was there yesterday – good food but will never ever go back again because they have a huge problem with cockroaches!!! there was a cockaroach on the table that apparently climbed up from the chair i was sitting on. The chair contained a lot of them underneath it (between the chair’s frame and the upholstery ) and also saw lots of them in the chair next to me.
talked with the owner.. he said that he knows and trying his best the maintain the situation and that unfortunately the table where i was sitting with my friend was the main area where the roaches were!!! i couldn’t eat anymore.. sat the rest of the evening with my feet up till my friend finishes his meal – paid – and left never to return again!!!!
Negative User: Huge disappointment. Escargot, frog legs, rack of lamb all over cooked to the point of being dry and tough. Complained and owner insisted they had 22 years of good food. Maybe it’s been the beginning of the end. I’m know he’s French but won’t go back for that arrogance.
