Positive User: Was led to this eatery per a recommendation from a fellow traveler and boy was I not disappointed! Fikeaw was my introduction to some of the best seafood I’ve had in Thailand. Located a bit off the beaten path in China Town, staff was courteous, food was fresh and made to order, prices were absolutely reasonable for all that was ordered: Jumbo Garlic Lobster, Fried whole snapper in sweet & sour sauce, stir fried morning glory and steamed rice. 😋

Positive User: The seafood is amazing here with dicent price. Food is fresh and cooked on the flame. You should know that it can get really hot and humid and you could be seated next to strangers on the table. So it’s not a place to mingle for hours. We ordered lobster, fried sea bass, two kinds of scollops ( Chillie and cheese), morning glory, prawn fried rice with some beers. All the dishes were delicious. Beer was not that cold but you can ask for some ice. The service is fast but it can get busy so you may have to line up.

Neutral User: We ordered eight large lobsters that night, seven of which were overcooked and the meat become tough,quite disappointed.
Neutral User: Too crowed, you may have to wait for a long queue and waiting before you can enjoy the food. The taste of the food is not surprisingly delicious. However, their seafood is quite fresh.

Negative User: Overrated & overpriced in my opinion. Food is use normal and actually even very oily. We had squid, shrimps, noodles and clams. Only the squids were good, the rest so so and very oily once again. Won’t be back unfortunately.
The service was friendly but the place itself is not clean at all… you eat in the mud and your stomach must be ready for this! Not recommended for tourists 😅
Negative User: For the 1700BHT I expected more. The cook is cool and to see all the fresh seafood (you get to pick your own crawfish) is nice, but our crawfish (not a lobster, as stated in the menu) was undercooked and did not come out of the shell easily. Might be just a fluke but with so many other options I don’t see the reason to come again.

Negative User: Damn shop staff A foreigner asks if he can smoke on the table, he insists that he just sit and smoke. Damn, the people sitting in the shop must smell the smoke. Really bad.
Negative User: Very bad service. They only take huge orders. If order is small (we ordered a fish, fried noodles and Tom yum soup), they give excuses like waiting time of 1 hour when shop is not very crowded. They did not even want to take our drinks order
Negative User: It’s hot, it’s expensive, Baek Jong-won’s restaurant is not necessary, just go to a nice, cool restaurant.
