  • Positive User: Poonsin, an old Chinese restaurant in the Wisut Kasat area. Next to Tri Thotsathep Temple Thick and tender roast duck Dried fried fish maw, haeguin, shrimp balls, very delicious. #Eatanywhere

  • Positive User: One of my grandfather’s favourite restaurants so far. It’s been on business for more than 50 years. We ordered roasted ducks, stir fried vegetables with shrimp balls, beef steak salad in Chinese-Thai style, geese’s leg soup, duck soup with pickled limes, and on. All dishes were tasty to my liking. The service is all right. The price is reasonable. Parking: is nearby at Wat Tritossathep temple. It found it’s easy to park on the day I came. But can be packed sometimes depends on the activities of this temple on that day.

  • Positive User: Amazing foods with not expensive price!!! . The price surprised me because it’s cheaper than most of restaurants in department stores while the foods are not just tasty but “delicious” . However, there were many people so we had to wait for a while before they served all dishes. Still impressed by the foods tho.

  • Positive User: Old style roasted duck. For me, too dry. Not juicy as expected. But the price and other menu is good enough for 4 stars.

  • Positive User: This place has been in business for over a decade. My dad told me that my grandmother love food from this place so much, so we had a chance to stop by this time. It was my second time here, and I never feel regret about the long drive They have tasty food here guys please try ducks plate and oyster dish and my grandma favorite dish is Kaapor-Pla soup. Can be hard to find parking and slow traffic around there.

  • Positive User: Delicious roast duck It ran out before I could take a photo. Other food is also delicious.

  • Neutral User: Fair taste. Nothing special except roasted duck. I’ll give 9/10 for roasted duck. Slow service. A little bit pricey compared to dish portion and quality. There’s a parking lot in nearby temple which costs 20 baht.

  • Neutral User: Average taste. Average Service. Price is reasonable.

  • Neutral User: The food tastes okay. But the food comes out slowly and is not hot. The service is not good. There is a charge for air conditioning per head. which is not stated on the menu or anywhere else

  • Negative User: Legendary Roast Duck

  • Negative User: Disappointed. Food, service and atmosphere. Didn’t live up to expectations. Before it might have been the place for having duck, but that’s history. Duck was soggy, staffs were basically out of sight, even when there were only 2-3 tables. Place is run down and very old. Would not recommend. Wasn’t even worth taking pics. Sorry.

  • Negative User: Urgently improve service. It’s a famous restaurant. Located at the corner of Wisut Kasat Intersection. The shop is quite large. If you want to receive standard service like a normal restaurant. Recommend going to another shop. Starting from the queue to enter the store, which is confusing because there are 2 doors. There are quite a lot of tables available (as seen in the picture), but there are plenty of people waiting in line before entering the table. When I came in and sat down I was given a menu. But there were no employees to pick up the food. Even though there are quite a lot of employees. But like the waiter, he served. The staff brings people in and sits down and does just that. Saw other tables and had to shout and call the staff to take orders as well. The ordered menu made many mistakes, such as two people going together and ordering red pork fried rice. with a small plate of Hong Kong fried noodles Because each person eats a plate Then make a medium or large plate for you, then order a medium plate of duck and red pork, separate plates, then put them together and put them on a small plate. When I followed the employee who came to serve, I didn’t know. I was informed that the employee taking the order was probably responsible. When the bill came out, I saw that the bill had been corrected, as if I had made a mistake, the table came later. Got duck and crispy pork before my table. Overall, it’s a big, old store with a lot of employees, but poor management. No matter how delicious it is, you may not come again. B+ taste Price A Atmosphere B+ Service D Clean B+

  • Negative User: “No need, don’t come.” If you expect to receive service – none. If you expect to get food quickly – no. If you expect delicious food like 20 years ago – it’s not. The employees do not welcome, do not talk, do not repeat the food, work like cockroaches walking around in confusion. Unfortunately, the legend of the Wisut Kasat area But now it’s full of depleted employees, waiting for the day… if there is zero stars Give zero stars Not worth for visiting in any case. Not like 20yrs before.

  • Negative User: I sit here for one full hour, only one dish comes. Not sure how the food but service is minus 1 star.

  • Negative User: Food is good but service is just terrible.
