Positive User: Very yummy food but some items a bit too spicy for us even though we asked for it to be done less spicy. Staff is attentive. Prices a bit on the high side for Bangkok standard. Positive User: Exceeded our expectations! Know we know why it’s Michelin so many years in a row. Great special flavors at a fraction of the “usual” Michelin price. Cute environment and great food choices! Definitely a must when staying in Bangkok!! Positive User: An excellent restaurant all around. There are 15 different types of somtam, and I went with the house special, that included noodles. It was really good. And the grilled pork and accompanying sauce were outstanding. I also tried the black sticky rice, and it was delicious, with a slightly nutty flavor. The service was fast and friendly and the price was reasonable. Definitely a place to check out if you’re in the area.

Positive User: Food was absolutely delicious. Quite an expensive meal by Thailand standards but ok for “date night”. I would go to Somtum Der again next time in Bangkok for sure! Positive User: If you like Northeastern (Isaan) style Thai food, this is one restaurant in Silom, Bangkok that I would recommend. Basic Isaan food you should eat . you will order different types of papaya salad. Sausages in Isaan style, etc…which here tastes very spicy to very spicy. For foreigners, you can order by telling the level of spiciness. The restaurant is clean, good service, and decorated in an Isaan style. Traveling is very easy, not far from both BTS and MRT train. As for the price, it’s reasonable. Positive User: Pricey, but so so so good So yeah, it’s a bit of a chain, but don’t let that out you off. This, my friends, is the real deal. Focus on the Isan-style stuff (the rest is good too, but you can get that in other places) it’s why you’re here. The salads, punchy pungent , and outstanding, are off the charts. Get anything with cockles in it, you won’t regret it. Hell, get anything, it’s just plain good

Negative User: Don’t discriminate against Chinese people. Waited for 40 minutes and said that the kitchen had stopped taking orders when we ordered. But white people who came later than us have no problem. Negative User: I got a somtum salad after finishing my main meals. Negative User: The service is absolutely horrible. The waiter drops our order left and right. Miss one drink and soup order. And half way change protein of dish to pork. Other tables arrived much later have their dishes served faster. When confronted with the delayed and missing orders, The servant is not apologetic whatsoever.
