  • Positive User: Best jjajangmyeon in town. The serving size is huge so better not order on an empty stomach. Love this place. Definitely coming back for those black bean noodles.

  • Positive User: Large portions & delicious Jaengban Jjjajang (Black bean noodles with seafood and pork). This dish is for 2-3 people (medium size). Good quality of service!

  • Positive User: Delicious food, rich jajang sauce. Always have kimchi and pickles 👍

  • Positive User: I ran out of gas, so I had to wait 45 minutes to eat a bowl of Jajangmyeon. The basics have to be followed at all times… but the staff are a pity.

  • Positive User: Ordered the Mapao tofu off Grab for 300b. Honestly it was pretty darn tasty and decent portions, I just wish they included rice with it.

  • Positive User: Food is really good, reasonable price

  • Neutral User: Small restaurant serving Korean-Chinese food. Jjajangmyeon (짜장면) is on the liquidy side but still delicious. Jjampong (짬뽕) is spicy and deep. Fried chicken and tofu is a little too sweet. Food portions are HUGE. Be prepared to share the dish.

  • Neutral User: Not so many choices for the menu. There are Kimchi and pickle radish available for free which taste good. Jajangmyeon & Tokpokki turned out just a typical one, not that good at all

  • Neutral User: just

  • Negative User: 20201002 Someday, when the corona is over, many tourists will visit again. hope the environment 20170901 The Forbidden City was in Thailand almost twenty years ago. It’s my first time to go and try proper Korean-style Chinese food for a while. It was a proper Chinese restaurant that I met while I was not eating. That is, even before the Korean Wave existed. The next day after I drank, I went to Haejang Jjamppong, Or take foreigners who are curious about Jajangmyeon Going to introduce the taste of Korea It was my favorite Bangkok Chinese restaurant. At that time, it was mostly Korean customers. There weren’t that many guests. Koreatown itself is mostly composed of shops on the first floor. guests are visiting The Forbidden City on the 3rd floor was a very quiet shop I love this place and many other people visit it. I’m worried that the atmosphere of the store will be blurred I hoped it would stay the same for a long time But from my point of view, savagely Hallyu started, Koreans and Thais alike As the number of customers increases, the price continues to rise. The price range of food, which was originally cheaper than in Korea, Recently, it has risen above the Korean level. On the other hand, the level of food is based on my taste. It goes down inversely proportional to the price. Dropped to a level I couldn’t tolerate There are fewer long reviews. people often say Is it because of the critical situation where the chef changes? In the old days, when I became an adult, the cute boss’s daughter Are you running the business and not taking care of the taste of the food? Or by retorting some of the food in the factory I don’t know if that’s the case It’s not enough to meet my expectations anymore The thick jjamppong that is full of bad taste in my memory Jjajangmyeon is a mixture of fire taste and savory taste in a golden ratio. It seems that it is difficult to eat in the Forbidden City anymore. But if you say it’s tasteless, it’s not. It’s just plain jjajangmyeon jjambbong. Most of the dishes are okay. Most of the travelers will be satisfied even if they visit. If you have tried the frozen jjajangmyeon jjamppong these days (For frozen) You know it’s very delicious. That’s it. However, for me, food in the Forbidden City was not just food. I cried and laughed and ate jjamppong jajangmyeon with my friends It’s like another place from my childhood has disappeared I have a sad feeling of loss One star replaces the sense of loss and sadness I felt.

  • Negative User: I ordered a dish with fried pork and got delivery. But most of them were burnt and too oily. It seemed to be intentional even though they knew it was really bad quality when they cooked and delivered it. After we called the restaurant and explained the quality, they told us not to change oil because they were busy. and sent it again. Frankly speaking, the taste of pork I got secondly was also so strong to chew and too tough. I don’t want to order any dishes any more although I have lived in Bangkok for a long time. Beside, It was not professional reaction when we complained it on the phone. They treated customer quite badly. It is not worth even 0.5 star.
