Positive User: Great service. Staff understands and speaks basic English. Courteous service. Must try tofu and beef dishes that they serve. I’d give it a must try!! The first 2 times I ate at a general izakaya. The 3rd time I noticed that every table had all nabe. So I ordered some. Which we ordered was Wagyu Nabe, which was very good! Until this time, I had to order again. We ordered according to the promotion (at the bottom of the page, haha) and got 2 trays of meat, 1 set of vegetables (in the pot) and kept adding soup. It’s so delicious that you have to order additional vegetables to eat with the soup. And this time we ordered 2 more things than usual: mentaiko spaghetti and seasoned veggie. Mentaiko spaghetti is a bit dry, has a buttery aroma, but doesn’t have much of a mentaiko flavor/smell. But it’s still delicious. I like it dry like this. As for the seasoned veggie, it’s an appetizer that looks like pickled cabbage stir-fried with eggs, haha. But the taste is really good, sour, goes with everything greasy or is fun to eat as a snack. Negative User: Nice ambience, reminding us of Japan. The service is average, quite friendly. It is good to have a place like this in Ladkrabang area. Perfect for getogether and hangout with friends, etc. I like how cold glass is used for beer. They give us beer promotion even though it is not weekend time. However, the food is below average compared with price. As the prices of food and beer are similar to the levels of Izakaya in Asoke or central area, I kinda expect certain quality. We went there a big group, so we tried various dishes. We ordered Calamari, Beef, Chicken skewers (Yakitori), Sushi rolls with Unagi, Papaya salad, Tofu, Beef noodles, grilled garlic, salads among others. The beef is probably best although the sauce is on the sweet side. Chicken skewers are bland, no charcoal scent. The unagi on top of sushi has good texture, but the rice is somehow not well seasoned. Maybe there are better food on the menu, but we did not know. The servers said that everything is delicious, but on the contrary we did not find that to be the case. But I still hope that the quality gets better and better as such a place is certainly needed in Ladkrabang area. In addition, the square stools are quite small even for me. Izakaya style restaurant with a nice atmosphere…reminds me of being in Japan….good to have a place like this located in Lat Krabang area.
