Positive User: Authentic Thai Food, Great Atmosphere & High Standard Service
Not too long ago, I stopped by Prik-Yuak on a weekday after hearing about the live jazz on Saturdays. I told myself, ‘I’ve got to eat at this restaurant one day.’
Finally, I found myself at Prik-Yuak. Let me tell you, this place serves high-quality, rich, and thick curry sauce. The homemade juice was incredibly refreshing.
I ordered Panang curry with pork neck and ‘ใบเหลียงผัดไข่กุ้งเสียบ’ (Sorry, I had no idea how to translate that into English, lol).
These dishes were amazing; the Panang curry sauce was thick and rich in flavors. I’d say it’s the best Panang curry I’ve had in Thailand so far.
The vegetable dish, ‘ใบเหลียงผัดไข่กุ้งเสียบ,’ was fantastic as well. It’s light and not too salty, which complements the rich Panang curry sauce perfectly.
The Bael Fruit Juice was tasty, albeit a bit too sweet for my liking, but that’s okay.
Note: One thing I noticed in Thailand was that servers didn’t pay much attention to the orders; they were more like order takers. Why do I say that? Because I ordered with light ice, but it came full of ice. -_-”
Overall, it was a pleasant experience for me. If I have time for another visit, I’ll definitely come on a Saturday night for the live band as well.
Positive User: In the era of Covid, we couldn’t go to the restaurant but have been waiting to have their food again. Every dish we ordered in was fresh and a balanced flavor. Recommend everything. The orange curry was made authentic southern (Chumporn) style, full round flavor with a sour and spicy kick with fresh fish. The cold rice salad ingredients were also fresh and just the right balance of each. The crab Haw Mok (a steamed curry with crab) was aromatic, with large chunks of crab on the top. The same crab filled the pad Thai and no sticky noodles. You know you’re eating good ingredients put together with attention and care that is hard to find. Thanks for sending to our home!
Positive User: The food here taste amazing, intense and authentic. Some of the dishes here are unique and cannot be found else where! I came here during Saturday’s lunch time and the place is already crowded, so I recommend booking ahead. There are plenty of parkings at the restaurant. One tiny downside is they do not accept credit card.
Four Stars
Positive User: Some of the food here is really excellent, such as the Pork Panaeng Curry I had today. On an earlier visit, some other dishes were a bit underwhelming (or maybe I felt they were overpriced).
As long as you order the right dishes, this restaurant can be pretty good.
Positive User: Prik Phruk Shop is inside the old Rewadee School.
I really like the atmosphere. It’s warm, open, and comfortable.
Spacious shop The seat is comfortable.
_Food tastes good.
_Good raw materials
_Small quantity
_Pretty plate arrangement, neat and clean on banana leaves.
_High price
_My favorite menu is sata shrimp paste stir-fried with shrimp. Oily sata stir-fried with shrimp paste, fragrant, delicious, fresh shrimp.
_Menu you don’t like Khanom Jeen Nam Prik is sweet and sour, heavily bitter, not mellow.

Ample, shady parking.
Positive User: Had pretty high expectations due to the good reviews, food was good but not fantastic.
We liked the steamed fish paste and fried fish, but the red curry pork was too sweet, and the stir fried squid recommended by the staff was too tough to chew.
Might be back to try other dishes.

Neutral User: The food was good but compared to the price & portion, it’s not worth it. They don’t accept credit cards (or just yet when we visited).
Neutral User: I just couldn’t justify the price for each dish that I ordered. For the price, I expected the food to be fantastic but it was just ordinary like other Southern Thai restaurant in Bangkok. The atmosphere was good though.
Neutral User: School vibes.

Two Stars
Negative User: Decent taste, all in all the dishes could have been a bit more flavorful though; and quite expensive for what you get.
Negative User: Ordered 3 dishes to eat. Good looking food. But the taste is nothing wow. and compared to taste + quantity Not worth the price Personally, begging once, not coming back, not having a little problem. If the taste is good, it can be allowed.
1. Orange curry with shrimp, chaebuay + fried acacia eggs. (I like that the egg is separated) Fresh shrimp, but not bouncy, not sweet. Overcooked makes the meat matte. The eggs are very oily. This menu has 3 shrimps, the price is 350 baht.
2. fried elbow squid with yellow chili and basil very mild taste There is no spicy, salty taste at all. Bland. The squid is not cut well. Comes in pieces that are too big and not fresh, the price is 450 baht.
3. Kua Kling Beef Tenderloin: Spicy taste, but the texture is quite hard. Side vegetables that are not fresh, the price is 250 baht.
4. The local people’s liquor ordered tastes good. But can’t eat with food and doesn’t help with food at all
The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite noisy, competing with each other. Who doesn’t like loud noises may be annoyed.
Negative User: Not as tasty and fresh as at the old location.
but much more expensive!
One Star
Negative User: The service staff is very bad. never met before Don’t care when talking to customers. Do not look at the face while talking not interested in service staff call time Employees walked away despite There are very few customers in the shop. It’s like the employees have never been trained before. Interested in arranging dishes and spoons I don’t care if the customer wants to call and talk to me at all. If you want to come to eat, you have to get overwhelmed by the bad service. Once you stop!
