Lek Seafood Positive User Reviews

  • Positive User: Lek & Rut is one of the best places to eat seafood in Chinatown. You can choose to seat outside at tables on the street or inside in a labyrinthic set of rooms ( I recommend this one). The menu is not extensive and seafood essentially (crab, shrimp, squid, mussels, fish…) and all the food is cooked really very good. Prices are cheap. Service is extra fast. The restaurant can be reached very easily with a very little walk from MTR station Wat Mangkon.

  • Positive User: Lek Seafood is a great place to go for fresh and delicious seafood in Chinatown Bangkok. The snails are a must-try, and the service is friendly and attentive (some of the crew can even speak mandarin). The restaurant can be crowded and the wait can be long, but it’s worth it for the delicious food. I highly recommend Lek Seafood to anyone looking for a great seafood meal in Bangkok.

  • Positive User: Good and affordable roadside seafood. The one that really stands out is the Crab Curry and is a must order. The prices are transparent and we like that there is inside seating and some staff able to speak Chinese. The only complaint is that the crab meat fried rice still have some crab inner fins in it.

  • Positive User: Some nice decent seafood restaurant. The special dish they have is stir fried fish maw which is special around Chinatown area. Worth coming if you look around some seafood dishes.

  • Positive User: The food is very delicious and delicious. The restaurant is a bit hot but it’s acceptable Cute staff, some staff can speak Vietnamese :)))) Humorous

  • Positive User: So crowded, many tourists and we have to wait for so long to get table. Foods are ok? not that special but not bad either

  • Neutral User: Thai food seafood, yummy but quite expensive

  • Neutral User: Food was fast, i think fish was pre steamed. Less than 5min fish served then vege n last ob woon sen. Food taste kinda meh not too great.

  • Neutral User: The taste is as good as competing restaurants. But it’s a bit more expensive. The air-conditioned room isn’t as uncomfortable as competitors’, but it’s not cold, it’s just not hot.

  • Negative User: Food normal only. Nothing special. Price affordable but rate one star for service damn bad. The most bad service at Thailand I meet. Order not come. Asking no care. I haven’t finish my meal straight go counter pay and leave. And need notice the place really dirty. Also the most dirty restaurant at Bangkok. Only idiot will come again.

  • Negative User: Not healthy and not clean. I saw a cat come out of the kitchen. If you want your stomach to be okay i suggest not going anywhere near this restaurant.

  • Negative User: The staff was so rude. When we sat down, he sat by our side to take order just like he was my boss. We asked him about the price of prawn, he answered me with the disrespectful attitude. We ordered grilled prawn, crab meat fried rice and seafood chow mein. Prawn so tiny, its arms still raw. Fried rice crab meat with full of crab bone. Chow Mein so salty. When I asked for the check. The staff took my money and gave change without saying thank you or something. What a terrible dinner. I’ve been here couple of times before. It was really good before. I am not going back here anymore. (I sat outside, the staff that served us was a male that speaks Mandarin, his arms full of tattoos. And his left neck also has a tattoo looks like a star. We were there on August 10 2023. Time 18:20. I also have his picture if you would like to see.)
