Positive User: Love the French toast here. It is crispy and it feels like I was eating omelette.
We ordered the “Toppings (large)” and the portion was just nice for me but probably a little small for big eaters.
The steamed bread with kaya was just nice and it wasn’t too sweet. The bread was soft and jiggly too ☺️

Positive User: Got vintage feeling
Positive User: 5 star bread, extra soft and soft
Positive User: The fry egg set was nice. Good bacon, ham, and sausages. Didn’t really like the French toast and the butter toast. Can find better one else where.
You can park at The Old Siam, the parking fee is only THB 20 for me. Will try the kaya and bread next time around.

Neutral User: Price is expensive.and the lady in front counter is very rude and unfriendly. Some visitors is first timer , didn’t know there is a Q nos . But she seem like- u want u wait and I don’t really care . The only think nice is only the kakay and soft bread . The rest is normal .
Neutral User: Came across this location while doing our research on where to eat. Authentic local breakfast place and they have quite a good mix of locals and tourist when we visited on a weekday morning.
Food wise it’s average for us, but it is very cheap and definitely can fill you up! Their kaya toast is probably the stand out items in their menu, perfect with their fluffy steam bread too.
Do expect some queue during peak hours as it was full house when we arrived.
Neutral User: Classic original Thai coffee shop style

Two Stars
Negative User: Under my expectation
Negative User: Why is this famous? I honestly feel duped by all the raving reviews and viral posts online. The place is firstly, not that easy to get to. There is nothing much nearby and you really have to make a trip down just for this.
The food is also extremely underwhelming and so mediocre. The steamed bread with custard and condensed milk that is so highly raved about is just boring. It isn’t even exceptionally good bread or custard or condensed milk. The breakfast set is just like your average home-cooked breakfast. Soft boiled eggs aren’t even soft boiled.
The coffee is decent. That’s it. Will never come again nor will I recommend it. There’re much more worthy options to fit into your travel itinerary.
Negative User: No need to queue
One Star
Negative User: Food is mediocre, it’s not that special to get in line in the dawn of morning for
Negative User: Still don’t understand why this restaurant is hot
Negative User: As a Taiwanese, it tastes ok but the price is extraordinary.
