Jumbo Lobster Positive User Reviews
Five Stars
Positive User: Private location with quality food
Positive User: Beautifully located within Salil Riverside Hotel with a partial river veiw (limited tables). The food was fresh, particularly the river prawns and the oysters.
Good place for seadfood Thai style (with Chinese influence).
The view, the food, and the service came at an expected price premium, but certainly not bad for restaurant in a 5-star hotel.
Positive User: I like everything. The food is magnificent, delicious, excellent service. The restaurant is close to the waterfront, with a good atmosphere and a large menu. The restaurant is in the Salil Riverside Hotel.
Four Stars
Positive User: this restaurant moved (reopen) from Yaowarat St. aka BKK’s China town.
Located in the hotel named “The Salil”
the property is so nice, next to the river, the decor, view, and vibe are great.
service is also good but can be better.
the thing is the food, maybe its just me but it does not taste the same as the previous restaurant, a bit different and can be better.
Positive User: Very skeptical about the atmosphere at first but it was unexpectedly good when I visited. The food were delicious. The staffs are very well-trained able to recommend anything from the menu and understand the menu.
Unfortunately, there were huge orders last night before I visited. Consequently, some ingredients were out of order and some weren’t fresh.
But overall, very good experience dining 4.5/5
Positive User: The service is great. Coconut juice is nice, oyster is very very disappointing. The lobster in cheese is great but not the garlicky one. Crab fried rice is no good for sure. Price is okie though but won’t be going back again. Same price can get better food than this place.

Three Stars
Neutral User: I went around 3 o’clock and ordered half and half jumbo size crayfish (rainbow lobster) and shrimp fried rice. The fried rice was really delicious! Originally, I was going to order grilled freshwater shrimp, but it was sold out. I also ordered New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, but it was sold out. 2pcs of Thai oyster were also sold out… I don’t know if it was originally out of stock or because I arrived late, but I didn’t have any, so I ordered 6pcs of island oyster and Italian brut that were recommended. A total of 9,100 baht came out😤 It feels like I was just taken into nursing care.. Absolutely not recommended unless you are going to eat fried rice!!!!!!!!!!
Neutral User: The Yellow Curry Crab was more to the sweet side and they are rather generous with Crab Meat. It was not bad.
Both the Garlic Scallop and the Lobsters (both Cheese and Garlic) however are alright. Initially the Lobster is not cooked enough and we requested to cook longer. Both are fresh and juicy though.
Overall abit overpriced in our opinion as we expected more based on Google Review.
Neutral User: Starters were great, mains were quite disappointing. Atmosphere and staff were really good. River prawn heads had a bitter taste, the chicken clay pot was heavy and herby. Overall, the experience was quite mediocre.

Jumbo Lobster Negative User Reviews
Two Stars
Negative User: Tom Ka Gai was heavy on citrus and not very creamy. Still good.
Blue crab w clear Tom Yam broth was salty and crab was past its fresh date. Still edible but they really shouldn’t of served that to anybody.
Green mango spicy salad was good, properly spicy. The toasted cashews were a very nice touch.
Everything was salty. I recommend you stick to the grilled lobster and shrimp, that looked delicious.
Negative User: Worst pad thai in Thailand or anywhere else for that matter. Gluggy and inedible.
Negative User: Taste-wise, food was decent but not amazing…but both my son and I vomited heavily 4-6 hours later. I’m not sure if it was due to their food but we didnt get the best impression when we were there.
One Star
Negative User: Because you can taste lobster at a cheap price
find. A lot of people thought it would be delicious.
There is no seat on the 1st floor, so I went to a room with air conditioning on the 2nd floor.
A three-generation Chinese family is eating.
I have two kids and I scream non-stop, but a person who looks like a grandmother follows me, cheers me on, and I don’t fall.
I told him to be quiet with a hiss, but he didn’t pay attention
Jejejejeje said to the child while doing this.
In the end, we asked the staff to move our seats because it was noisy.
The staff told them to be patient as they will be leaving soon.
The taste has already left and the appetite is gone.
ate nonetheless.
I ordered half and half garlic cheese.
Garlic is minced garlic clumped together in one place.
The cheese cools down and hardens.
It wouldn’t be like this if it came out soon.
The taste is also bitter. No dog taste. It cools down and boils more.
Not worth lining again.
The Morning Glory and chicken fried rice, which I ordered separately, tasted much better.
In fact, if you go to another place, you will be treated with cold rice, but the lobster is badly burnt, so it is relative.
Expensive, overpriced and tasteless.
Not worth giving 1 star
Negative User: Impolite and bad service, I needed to pay right in the middle of my meal, right after paying they switched the lights off, also bad quality for the price you pay, not recommended
Negative User: It took sooo long time to get what you order. Staff was very busy, not came to take order from customers. Food was ok but the price is expensive. It was very hot there and it has no fan or ac
