Positive User: My wife and I visited Here Hai Restaurant after hearing its great reviews, and it was definitely a lunch to remember!
Their dishes are full of flavour and the special green sauce that they have elevates their dishes to even greater heights. Flavour bombs all day!
I hope that the pictures that I share here will somehow do justice on the level of dining experience that we had.
I would definitely come here, and I can’t wait for you to experience it as well.
Thank you Here Hai Restaurant!
Positive User: Really small store to begin with so expect some queue. Do take note of their opening hour as the they have an hour break before reopening till early dinner.
So onto the most important part, love the seafood here especially the fried rice with crab lump and also the big prawn.
Orange juice here was great.
Positive User: Super Fresh Crab, Shrimp with superb skillful chef.
You’ll got heavenly seafood on earth.
That’s why, they got 4 in a row for Michelin from 2020-2021-2022-2023.
Four Stars
Positive User: Waited 1.5 hour as walk in customer.
Fried Rice is good with eggs and has the dried yet individual grain texture ! Cantonese says got “Wok hei” fresh blue crab meat are spread generously on top. There is 2 type of fried rice, this one that i ordered didn’t have crab meat inside the rice.
Running Omelette with fresh cooked crab meat generously placed on top as finish.
Eating fried rice only taste good and not salty !
Eat together with pouched crab meat taste special, add in their special green spice sauce add flavour to the whole eating experience.
Recommend to try if you don’t mind waiting.
Mantis Prawn if you can take spicy do try this Basil stir fried with fish sauce.
Only a few dish on the menu but enough for 2 person when order fried rice M size.
Small place and its hot.
Only accept cash payment.
Positive User: Arrived at 3.40pm and already there was a queue before the restaurant officially reopens at 4.10pm. You will have to take a queue number by writing down your name on a little booklet in front of the shop and the staff will call out your name when it’s your turn. At 3.40pm, there were already 13 groups ahead of us.
Reservations are also available as I do see some people skipping the queue and going in directly. Another option is to order the food through a food delivery platform as I did observe many grab drivers collecting the food throughout.
We waited for over an hour and was finally seated at around 4.45pm. We ordered a plate of crab fried rice, an egg and the mantis shrimp. Crab fried rice is tasty but in my opinion not worth the long wait. It’s more of a touristy place as I did not see any locals eating there.
Overall verdict is that it’s good to try if the queue is short. Otherwise, opt for delivery to skip the long wait.
Positive User: Delicious: crab fried rice, crab omelette, crab curry, grilled river prawn …
Drink is ok with some traditional like Thai milk tea, mandarine juice…
You have come to wait in long queue if not booking in advance. But it’s quite fast. We have to wait around 30 mins. If you do not want to wait can go their facebook for booking, if I am not wrong, they only receive booking at the beginning of the month.
Good choice for tourist if you like seafood. Not too spicy and sour.

Neutral User: We were here earlier in the year and the Crab Fried Rice was certainly delicious. We were back again intending to once again to feast on the generous portions of crab meat and wok hay fried rice. Not to be, the crab meat was clearly from a frozen batch lacking taste and flavour. Hopefully Here Hai is not overly compromising on quality.
Neutral User: Ordered via Grab. Generous amount of crab meat was piled on the fried rice. Fried rice was fiery and dry, just how great fried rice should be. Some drawback, as much as the texture was spot on the fried rice was under seasoned. Mantis prawn was a little lacklustre. Possibly due to the travel could be a lot better in-store.

Negative User: The taste profile of the crab fried rice was good. Tried the mantis shrimps. However, we were rudely hit by an episode of food poisoning (bangkok belly) after 3-4 hours. We only had our hotel breakfast in the morning and Here Hai in the afternoon.

Negative User: Long queue, small shop, not suitable for people who get easily irritated. I’d recommend ordering a rider instead of getting irritated waiting in line instead of eating at home. It’s really delicious, but having a crowd with a large group of people at the restaurant probably won’t work. There are millions of Chinese people.
Negative User: Overrated. (1) crab fried rice: Fried rice part is an average fried rice, and the rice part is just topped with some ‘crab meat’. I expected that crab meat is fried together with rice, like a shrimp fried rice. The shop photo shows that crab meats are from blue crab. I wonder these crab meat are artificially processed one, because each piece of crab meat is quite large and in similar/regular size. Normally blue crab is small in size, and if crack open crab’s leg (after steamed) to pull out meat part, it is impossible to get large chunk of crab meat in one piece. (Maybe Thailand blue crab has humongous legs?) And crab meat has no taste of crab flavor at all. (2) fried mantis shrimp with garlic: The shrimp meat is soggy and wet. I expected crispy meat after frying. And in general all prices are too high. In BKK at around 800~1500 BHT, we can have decent seafood at an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet restaurant.
Negative User: 10 USD for a plate of beef fried rice. You can pay for an entire meal for 2 else where with similar standard. They’re charging an exorbitant amount because of their stars. In summary, you’re paying for the stars, nothing else.
