Shinsen Fish Market Positive User Reviews
Five Stars
Positive User: Lovely outdoor area with relaxed vibe. You can choose between the chilled out camping style area or the slightly more formal decked section. There was some live music when we were there (Friday night) with good musicians, but not intrusive.
You can also choose between Thai and Japanese menus, and there is an excellent choice of cocktails and different beers.
We went with Japanese and had a tuna tartar, some ebi tempura and a sashimi salad which were all excellent. We also had some kind of seafood in wasabi, which was not great.
We also had several cocktails, which were pretty decent at the price (around THB280)
Positive User: Awesome selection of Fresh seafood, Great atmosphere and reasonable prices. A must do if you’re in Bangkok
Positive User: Fresh food, varied menu, not very high prices, okay service, comfortable atmosphere | fresh ingredients – vierty of menu – reasonable price – friendly service & atmosphere
Four Stars
Positive User: The avocado tuna tower is very good, and the waiters are very enthusiastic
Positive User: This shop should be famous. I’ve seen them advertise only crabs. The store is big but the food zone in front isn’t as big as you think. Delicious crab oil fried rice Everything else is fine but not wow.
Positive User: Japanese seafood 🦞 🐠 restaurant Helping to lose a lot of thinking about traveling ✈️ to eat delicious food in Japan. Enjoy with fresh seafood and good atmosphere. The restaurant decorated like a fish market in Japan. Good service and very convenient parking 🚘. Enjoy 😊

Shinsen Fish Market Neutral User Reviews
Three Stars
Neutral User: Shinsen Fish Market is an integrated restaurant-mart-seafood market one-stop shop for a Tsukiji market-like experience. It would be on a slightly pricier side, but you are really paying for the ambience. For those who enjoy a beer outdoor, there is al fresco dining available.
Why I would recommend this place?
– Though strictly speaking you won’t really enjoy the thrill of picking your fresh catch of the day, the sushi, sashimi and other seafoods you get here are fresh and good quality
– Nice Japanese-themed environment for casual dining over sushi and sake (may not be romantic enough for a date in my opinion)
– You will be spoilt for choices here as there is quite a spread on the menu here including pork, chicken and beef, not just seafood
– Shop for tidbits and snacks after meal, if you aren’t already stuffed
Definitely go for the
– Sashimi platter
– Crab fried rice
– Grilled Wagyu steak
– Tapioca with ice cream
I won’t advise
– Expecting too much out of the food, yes, it’s up to standard for sure, but at this price point it really raised the bar much higher

Shinsen Fish Market Negative User Reviews
Two Stars
Negative User: Nice environment but food doesn’t justify the price. the sashimi is translucent thin and not worth its price. sushi rice is mediocre. look at photos for description. Perhaps it caters more for groups who order king crabs etc.
Negative User: We had lobster sashimi, uni bowl etc. Lobster was live so undoubtedly flesh; however, meat was slice too thinly so it broke up when we picked it up with chopsticks. Uni was average. Prices were shockingly expensive, especially the preparation fees. Definitely not worth it.
Service staff were generally attentive but I have beef with 2 things:
1. Did not explain the preparation fee structure.
2. When asked if could sit outdoors, was told no… it was freezing indoors. However, they let a caucasian family dine outside without so much of a pause.
3. Indoor atmosphere is cold… literally freezing. I’m a big guy with lots of natural insulation… I’ve skied in -20′ in just a shell jacket… and this was too much to bear. Sat outdoors only because of the cold… instantly regretted as there were flies everywhere and they joined us in our feast.
One Star
Negative User: Unfortunately “again” another disappointing & overpriced experience. Food & preparation quality (fish & sushi rice) sub-par.
Service was very slow & not accommodating.
We had to ask for cutlery & soy sauce.
Wish they would finally get it right…
Negative User: Good food, very bad service Employees stand full but don’t care about customers. I ate ten thousand but the service sucks.
Negative User: Used to be good, but food portion keep getting smaller and smaller with thin sushi slices..
